John Dimes is an author, artist, singer, actor, radio personality, and award-winning comedian. He is best known as Horror Host Hall of Famer Dr. Sarcofiguy, Ph.D. (Honorary), the first (and still only—well not anymore) African-American horror host.
In addition to this, Dimes has written several novels, such as the graphic novel Tales of Home, its companion fantasy novel, The Rites of Pretending Tribe, the surreal thriller Intracations, and the mockumentary guidebook The White Corpse Hustle: A Guide for the Fledgling Vampire, which has been favorably compared to the writings of Douglas Adams.
