The AD&D Board games are a cooperative game for 2-5 players, ages 14 and up. If you are familiar with roleplaying games, playing is a snap. Even if you are not, the nature of the game makes it simple to try out. Join us as we explore the dungeon’s hazards, and struggle to find our way out!

Axis and Allies (Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., table 16)
This game is for two to five players.

Axis and Allies is the most successful of Milton Bradley’s Gamemaster series. It depicts WWII on a grand scale, full global level. Military strategy, resource management and die rolling in this Classic board game.

Battletech: David vs. Goliath (Saturday 9:00 a.m. to noon, table 2)
This game is a special, introductory level game intended for new players. A maximum of five players are allowed for this event. This game allows sign ups before Ravencon! Email gaming@ravencon.com to sign up.

In Battletech lore, there is the boast that a 100 ton Atlas could take out a company of 20 ton Locusts. Well, how many Locusts does it take to destroy an Atlas? Let’s find out.

Battletech: The Grinder (Friday 8:00 p.m. to midnight, table 1)
All materials will be provided. This scenario is designed to appeal to all levels of skill but targeted to the interests of the inexperienced. The focus of the Grinder is to have fun, kill mechs and also to be killed. Winning is not important nor is trying to be the best. What is important is the enjoyment that is expressed by the players. This event runs until at least midnight. Walk ups are welcome from start to finish.

Battletech: Defense of Caledonia (Saturday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., table 1)
During the Blakist Jihad, Word of Blake forces invaded Caledonia. One of the first attacks was to eliminate supply bases on planet. The Skye Jaegers will have to fight hard to preserve the bases for vital resupplies as the campaign continues.

Battletech: Solaris Battle Royale (Saturday 8:00 p.m. to midnight, table 1)
This is Duncan Fisher welcoming Mechfans to the Solaris 7 Battle Royale. Why not just call it a melee? Well, here on Solaris 7 I’d like to say that we have a little more class in the murder for entertainment industry. Why, we even have food on a stick. Stick food is the best food!
In the Solaris Battle Royale, players can choose any mech, clan or inner sphere, up to standard tech level. Piloting and gunnery will be based on the BV of the mech. The better the mech you choose, the worse your piloting and gunnery skills will be. The winner is the last surviving mech on the field.

Blades in the Dark (Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., table 4)
The wire crossed with an Edgar Allen Poe poem. Perfect for this con!

Blade Runner RPG (Sunday 9:00 a.m. to noon, table 4)

This is the BLADE RUNNER roleplaying game – a neon-noir wonderland that’ll take your breath away. One way or another. An evocative world of conflicts and contrasts that dares to ask the hard questions and investigate the powers of empathy, the poisons of fear, and the burdens of being human during inhumane times. An iconic and unforgiving playground of endless possibilities that picks you up, slaps you in the face, and tells you to wake up.
Time to live. Or time to die.
The official Blade Runner RPG will propel players into the streets of Los Angeles as Blade Runners with unique specialties, personalities – and memories.

Brindlewood Bay: Murder She Wrote (Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., table 5)

The Golden Girls meets Call of Cthulhu (murder mystery with some supernatural). Players create grandmother-type characters who can’t leave well enough alone when they discover a murder. The scenario is “A Night at the (Whaling) Museum.

Carcassonne (Friday 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., table 13)
Carcassonne is a simple (but sometimes tricky!) map-building game for 2-6 players. You claim and try to build cities, roads, and other features to score points. Suitable for ages 12 and up. We have many expansions to suit any group of players.

Commander – Magic the Gathering (Friday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., table 12)
Commander is a variant of Magic the Gathering, a collectable card game. There are 99 cards in your deck and then your commander. Players are encouraged to bring their own decks but there will be decks to borrow as well. We are playing casual.
Four player pods will start as players arrive.

Cyberpunk Red – Introduction (Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., table 5)
Escort a high ranking public official safely from docks to corporate headquarters and back to docks. A mix of Dora the Explorer meets Johnny Mnemonic. Multiple pre-gens will be provided.

Gaslights and Grimoires: A Passage to Whitby (Saturday 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., table 9)
Gaslight and Grimoires is a FATE campaign set in an alternate Earth during the height of steampunk fantasy. Character generation will be held prior to event and/or pregenerated characters will be available.

Gentle Reader – Recently events have occurred that have sent shocking chills throughout society regarding the disappearances of a well-known costeamonger and associated dock workers from Whitby. It is with great need that a request has been made to meet with great alacrity to attend Lady E at noon on 14th of month in Crow and Thistle, Whitby.

Upon the 10th anniversary of the trial and conviction of supposed witch and murderess Tess Durbeyfield a rash of animal attacks plague the countryside of Dorset. Why has the French crown sent a naturalist to the area? Why is the Faerie Court of Summer encamped nearby? What is really behind the attacks?

Hag’s Retrieval (Saturday 8:00 p.m. to midnight, table 8)
A high octane, homebrew 5e adventure about stopping a powerful ritual a group of hags is performing.

An Introduction to Monte Cook Games’ Numenera (Saturday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., table 5)
This is a stand-alone introduction to Monte Cook Games’ Numenera. No prior experience is necessary to play as this is a teaching game. Pre-generated Characters will be provided. This game is for 3-6 Players.
There have been eight previous worlds. You may refer to them as ages, æons, epochs, or eras, but it’s not wrong to think of each as its own individual world. You, explorer, are in the Ninth World. As civilization works to survive, it seeks the mysterious and confounding relics of the previous worlds, the Numenera, that with a child’s understanding, it seeks to bend to its aid in so doing. Come explore a strange and bizarre world that, in reality, is our own… a billion years into the future.

Kill Doctor Lucky (Saturday 10:30 a.m. to noon, table 13)
3-6 players. Ages 12 and up. Why play Clue to solve the murder mystery, instead play Kill Doctor Lucky and compete to be the one who does him in! Will you try the Rope, the Chainsaw, or the Monkey Hand? Each weapon has a chance to kill him, and with each attack the other players get one chance and one chance only- to save Doctor Lucky…for their own desperate attempt.

King Maker (Saturday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., table 16)
The long lost boardgame has returned. Come fight in the War of Roses for the right to crown King or Queen of England!

Kleos (Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., table 8)
Kleos is a lightly asymmetrical game of strategic combat and area control. It combines hex-based combat with your favorite card game elements for a dynamic experience. Kleos features tactical card-play and action management. Up to five players.

Krampus (Friday 8:00 p.m. to midnight, table 8)

Something is wrong with the old man who brings toys to the children of the village. Numerous children have disappeared and someone must brave the bitter winter to rescue them!

Nuclear War Card Game (Friday 8:00 p.m. to midnight, table 16)
Ever want to play an easy card game where the objective is everyone loses? Then Nuclear War is the card game for you. Made over 50 years ago, this game has causes millions upon millions of deaths. The version being played at RavenCon will be a mix of all the box sets plus a large mixture from blister packs created in the early 2000s.

Numenera (Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., table 10)
Numenera is a science fantasy tabletop role-playing game set on Earth a billion years in the future. This will be an introductory session, using pre-generated characters, and will offer a survey of the game and the world. You will have fun. It is definitely worth getting up early for this one-shot, which you can then follow up with another Numenera game in the afternoon.

Valenrelm (Saturday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., table 6)
Valenrelm is a 4x game for 2-4 players set in a medieval fantasy world. Players explore by drawing a placing tiles, expand by deploying and moving armies, exploit the resources of villages and farms to fuel their conquest. Players win by gaining the most prestige through exterminating the enemy armies, becoming a wealthy kingdom, expanding to dominate the map, fighting the dragon, and more.

Villagers (Saturday noon to 1:30 p.m., table 13)
Villagers is a resource building game for 2-5 people. In this game, you look to accumulate residents for your growing village. The villages fortunes increase with the addition of productive residents. However, the accumulation isn’t just linear. Spinners can support Weavers which in turn can support Seamstress’ increasing the value of your hamlet’s output. Games take usually 30 minutes or so.

X-Wing Miniatures: Battle of Yavin (Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., table 1)
With the Death Star quickly approaching the secret base on Yavin IV, Rebel pilots launched an attack on the imperial battle station in a desperate bid to save the Rebelion. Harried by laser fire from the Death Star’s towers and pursued by Imperial pilots led by Darth Vader Himself, the Rebels’ target is an exhaust port only two meters wide.
