Book 2, The Firma Twins and the Flute of Enchantment, takes place at a science fiction convention and was shortlisted for the 2021 Gertrude Warner Book Awards for Middle Grade Fiction.
Timpko has just finished the first two books in the Mariah Rhodes series (Book 1: Escaping to Space and Book 2: Surviving the Danger Planet)—science fiction novels for middle grade kids about an abused teenage girl in the future whose uncontrolled telekinesis leaves her stranded in a lost colony on an unstable planet. She is now writing Book 3 in the series: Joining Space Fleet.

Valentine is an internationally published cosplayer, panelist, and content creator. Her guesting, judging, and paneling endeavors have led her all over the east coast to conventions such as Galaxycon Richmond, Galaxycon Raleigh, Cosplay World Richmond, Tekko, Triad Anime Con, RavenCon, and Colossalcon East. Despite living with a chronic illness herself, she uses her platform to uplift and educate others in her efforts to make the cosplay community a place where everyone truly belongs. Her passion and skill for cosplay has opened a path to new opportunities such as partnering with the brand, MoeFlavor, and even being selected as an official Cosplay Creator for NIKKE: Goddess of Victory. Valentine constantly uses her platform to lift up other cosplayers, including her prior position as Monthly Q&A Manager for Carolina Cosplayers. She is always reminding her community to do everything for the love of cosplay.
