Katika Schneider is the author of The Afflicted Saga, a character-driven epic fantasy for epic readers. A lover of literary adventure and notorious breaker of writing rules, she’s been an obsessive writer for most of her life. Story crafting began as her favored form of self-care before her characters demanded she surrender the reins and write for them, and she began pursuing publication in 2014. She is a firm believer that everyone has a story to tell.
Holding her degree in Animal Science, Kat planned on attending veterinary school until incisions started making her faint. She lives on a small horse farm in Missouri with her husband, their robust family of critters, and an ever-growing army of Piccolos and garden gnomes.
