Cass Morris works as a writer and educator in central Virginia. Her debut series, The Aven Cycle, is Roman-flavored historical fantasy; Book 1, From Unseen Fire, was the winner of RavenCon’s 2019 Webster Award. She is one-third of the team behind the Hugo Award Finalist podcast Worldbuilding for Masochists. Cass previously worked in the Education Department at the American Shakespeare Center in Staunton, VA and currently serves as Collaborative Research Editor and Richmond Quest Director for Plato Learning, a summer camp program inspired by world mythologies. She holds a Master of Letters from Mary Baldwin University and a BA in English and History from the College of William and Mary.
