Rick Siebigteroth has been a presence on stage or behind the scenes for over fifty years. Rick combined his love of science fiction and passion for performing when he joined the now defunct Doctors in the House comedy troupe. When that group folded in 1997, he and his wife Cynthia formed Luna-C Productions. Rick is the director, one of the scriptwriters, and plays several roles in Luna-C in addition to producing, directing, and acting in a number of their amateur movie and stage productions. Rick has won multiple costuming and presentation awards as both an individual and as part of larger groups. Awards include six Best in Shows and six Best Presentation/Most Humorous awards. Costumes and characters he is known for recreating include: The Sixth Doctor (Doctor Who), three versions of Londo Mollari (Babylon 5), Hagrid (Harry Potter), Death (Terry Pratchett’s Discworld), Captain Taggert (Galaxy Quest) Worf (Star Trek: TNG), and multiple Daleks (Doctor Who) with his wife. And, as no costume is complete without that perfect prop, he has received workmanship awards for Prop Recreations such as: Liberator Gun (Blakes 7); Farnsworths, both standard and Claudia’s, (Warehouse 13); and Proton Packs (Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters: Answer the Call).
