Jim and John Gaines are father and son authors writing sci-fi under the byline J.M.R. Gaines. Their stories are set in the Forlani Saga universe and presently include two complete novels (Life Sentence and Spy Station in Amazon KDP) and two in progress (Earth Regained and Rage on Forlan), as well as several stand-alone short stories published in various journals and ezines. Jim is a retired professor of French and literature and John works and writes as a librarian for Central Rappahannock Regional Library.
