Election Fever Sweeps RavenCon!
2012 is Election year! And RavenCon will be honoring the tradition with it’s own elections. This year, we’ll be allowing the convention attendees to vote for the Fan Guest of Honor for 2013. Everyone is eligible! What other convention gives you the chance to win two free badges and a hotel room for the weekend?
How It Works
Just sign up at the Registration Desk. You can also announce your candidacy at Opening Ceremonies. Everyone is encouraged to spend the weekend campaigning: Make posters, kiss babies, throw parties, tweet extravagant campaign promises, sling mud, etc. There will also be time set aside during the Masquerade (Saturday night, 8:00 p.m.) for candidates to make speeches. Ballots will be collected at the Registration Desk throughout the weekend (one vote per person). Results will be announced at the Con in Review panel, Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. and on our Twitter feed (@RavenCon) and Facebook page (facebook.com/ravencon).
