Michael Babbitt

Michael is the director of the feature film The Last in Line, an original fantasy-based war drama. His directing experience covers over twenty years of stage and credits for music video, commercials, and narrative short and feature length films. His films have been accepted and won awards in film festivals nationwide (i.e., FACES, No-Good Maxine, Sacrifice, Righteous).

Michael’s education includes an MFA from the Professional Acting Training Program at Play-maker’s Repertory Company and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Theatre from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He served honorably in the United States Army as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Infantry Division and the 101st Airborne Infantry Division.

He has been an avid dungeon master and gamer since 1979. He lives in Hillsborough with his wonderful wife and partner in Bombshell Studios.
