Kalayna Price

Kalayna Price is an Urban Fantasy author and a fan of both what goes bump in the night and the lighter side of shadows. She draws ideas from the world around her, her studies into ancient mythologies, and her readings of classic folklore. Her stories contain not only the mystical elements of fantasy, but also a dash of romance, a bit of gritty horror, some humor, and a large serving of mystery. Her first book, ONCE BITTEN, was published by Bell Bridge Books in January, 2009, and spent six weeks on Fictionwise's top ten bestselling Dark Fantasy list. The second book in the Haven series, TWICE DEAD, will be released in February, 2010. She recently signed a contract with ROC/Ace books for a second Urban Fantasy series, which will be released in 2011.
