Malcolm Deeley

Malcolm Deeley is the author of eleven books of poetry, including the five-volume cycle The Empyrean, which is illustrated by his own oil paintings. He is a six-time nominee for the Rhysling Award from the Science Fiction Poetry Association. His works have been anthologized in Distant Passages, The Rhysling Anthology, and have appeared in magazines including Star*Line, Mythic Delirium, Illumen, Astropoetica, Hungur, and Goblin Fruit. He is the editor of the benefit Nox: Dark Poets Against Abuse. His artwork and paintings have appeared in the books Red Planet Dust and Portrait of My Lover. As a publisher, he founded Bram Stoker Award winning Gromagon Press in 2003. His most recent books are Legends of the Fallen Sky with Rhysling and Bram Stoker Award winning author Marge Simon, and two books about the ancient world: Mythology, Figures of Divine Sun and Monstrous Twilight, and Ferrum, with artist David Cuccia. His next book, Dark of the Sun, is due for release in early 2010.
