Diana Bastine is the author of the YA fantasy novel The Source (Helm Publishing, 2011), as well as the sequel The Shape-shifter, due out in 2012. She has completed the first draft of the third volume in the series, tentatively titled The Seal Woman, and has begun work on a fourth installment.
She is also working on a steampunk novel featuring the 19th century union activist and agitator “Mother” Jones, and will have a story in an upcoming anthology.
She also hand-knits altar cloths and blankets for small pets and small pet carriers, studies the Tarot and recently became a Reiki Master.
